Land Purchase on Bouchie Lake

In view of the lack of public recreation area adjacent to Bouchie Lake (notwithstanding the eleven public access sites under the jurisdiction of MoTI, see details under About the Watershed-Bouchie Lake) it has frequently been proposed that private land be purchased and developed as a mini park or public recreation area for picnicking, swimming and possibly boat launching. Options are being explored for involving BC Parks and Recreation and/or efforts by our own society (BLWSS) to secure grant money for such a purpose.
