2000 Cariboo Region Lake Water Quality

The first access along Norwood Road and the one most often used as a boat launch. There are old uneven broken blocks at the shoreline. There is an outhouse (out of plumb) and a notice board operated by BLWSS on site.
2. Access site between properties 2507 and 2512 Norwood Road. The site is totally overgrown and not accessible from the road.
3. Access site named as Bradshaw Road. A wide cleared access road but with limited lake shore access.
4. Access site between properties2572 and 2578 Norwood Road. Access is steep down to limited lakeshore access.
5. Access is between properties 2626 and 2628 Norwood Road. Abandoned wood foundation on site. Lakeshore overgrown with rushes.
6. Access is adjacent to property 2648 Norwood Road. Fairly steep gradient to lake. Limited access.
7. Wide paved turn around area with garbage bin and mail boxes between 2675 and 2678 Norwood Road. Narrow access through reeds to the lake.
8. Access is adjacent to 2125 Waccan Road (First left off Barker Road). No access from the road. Area is full of reeds.
9. Access is between 2221 and 2233 Barker Road. A long narrow steep road leading between tall trees to a cleared area adjacent to the lake. Shoreline has trees and shrubs and lake is not easily accessible.
10. Access is between 2255A Barker Road and 2290 Jeanney Bell Road, but no easy public access, hence no picture. BC Assessment map shows approach either via driveway leading off the end of Barker Road or from Vernon North Road and Prestage Road. Neither route is easily distinguishable from private properties.
11. Access is from Bouchie Lake Road off Blackwater Road, between properties 2577 and 2599 Bouchie Lake Road and opposite 2592. No easy access from the road and no path to lake. Dense rushes at lakeshore.
